are kids allowed?
yes! kids are welcome at the wedding and all events including friday’s welcome dinner, after-dinner drinks on saturday, and the picnic on sunday.
kids menus will be provided at the wedding reception.
what meals are provided?
welcome dinner: passed Hors d'oeuvres and beer & wine
wedding reception & cocktail hour: canapes, lunch, and assorted drinks
after-party patio drinks: snacks & a round of drinks (you can buy order dinner for group here)
beachside pizza picnic: pizza, salad, drinks, but also BYOB!
what should i wear?
the dress code for saturday is on the dress code page. however, the weather is looking a bit cooler and wetter than expected (classic pnw), so be sure to bring some layers!
depending on the weather, the ceremony may still be outdoors on the lawn, so ladies, try to wear something with a flatter sole (a block heel or wedge).
where are you staying?
we’ll be staying at the sylvia hotel at english bay! come by for beach time and the craft beer market (where we’ll have after-party drinks)!
any vancouver recommendations?
food: miku or minami (sushi), maruhachi ramen, kingyo izakaya, nook (pizza), hydra estiatorio (greek), chambar (belgian), vijs (indian), the magnet, any cactus club for great views, The sandbar (seafood), santo taco, brass fish, steamworks brewpub
